Avoiding broadband mistakes when choosing
a provider
Many broadband providers have failed over the
past few years due to the amount of competition in the
market.
There are also a lot of broadband 'cowboys' who offer
bad service and make their money by providing a highly
expensive premium rate support service, which is no
good to anybody!
When choosing an internet service provider you should
consider these services that should be offered:
- Local rate support phone numbers - There's nothing
worse than having problems and paying the price on
your phone bill
- Email addresses - Most should offer this, but it's
best to check
- Webspace - Not always nexessary, but it's great
to share photographs using your own personal webspace
- Contract period - check before buying that you're
not stuck in a 12 month contact if you don't want
to be
- Usage - Some providers restrict your usage, if you're
going to be doing a lot of downloading then make sure
you go for an unlimited bandwidth package
Once you've chosen your broadband provider it can be
on your phone line within 10 days. Then you can surf
away to your hearts content
